Profile
As a climate expert and academic entrepreneur, Dr Bing Sun holds a PhD from the University of Manchester and serves leadership roles both in China and international (see as below). With over 15 years of innovation, Bing theoretically proposed a set of initiatives (e.g. Carbon Governance Forum, green globalisation, a multilevel governance framework for China), while practically solving problems through entrepreneurship.
Bing has led many research projects and published in leading journals (Cities, EPM, Environmental Protection, Urban Planning, etc.). He owns over 50 property rights (patents and software copyrights) for the integration of sustainability and AI. His lab now operates jointly with top research institutions and industry partners towards further realizing the deep integration of expertise and AI in different service scenarios. It currently incubates a number of climate-friendly and tech-driven start-ups through to stock market.
